Recently, IPH co-sponsored a symposium regarding local lead exposures. 'State of the City and County: An Issue Briefing on Lead Poisoning in Chicago and Cook' brought together local experts from Loyola University, Northwestern University, University of Illinois - Chicago and officials from the City of Chicago and Cook County to discuss the current state of local lead exposures.
