Ignatian Day of Service

Every summer around the celebration of the Feast Day of Saint Ignatius of Loyola (July 31), we honor his legacy and our Catholic Jesuit values by reaching out in service to our community partners. Serving alongside residents and community leaders in Maywood and Berwyn, we learn about the multitude of good work being done in nearby neighborhoods and how to partner with local organizations throughout the rest of the year.

Volunteers from Loyola University Chicago Health Sciences Campus and Loyola University Health System will work closely with organizations like Maywood Fine Arts, Housing Forward, The Quinn Center, Project CURE, Catholic Charities, St. Mary of Celle, ENRICH Garden, Project C.U.R.E., and the Proviso Partners for Health Giving Garden.

Similar community engagement and outreach occurs on all three Loyola University Chicago campuses through this annual Day of Service.

Online registration begins in June or early July.
