Message from the Director

Welcome to the Center for Community and Global Health (CCGH) at Loyola University Chicago’s Stritch School of Medicine! Our Center is committed to health equity that extends across borders and populations. Our faculty and staff work collaboratively with community partners in conjunction with multiple departments and disciplines to further interprofessional learning.  Read about some of our work and partnerships in our annual report HERE.

The Community and Global Health Honors Program provides students with the opportunity to participate in a dynamic seminar series, service in the form of longitudinal field experience, and scholarly activity through mentored research projects. Through these experiences, they gain a better understanding of the social and political factors that impact the health of our most vulnerable patient populations. They also become empowered to advocate for their patients both in and out of the clinical setting.

Inspired by the many individuals and organizations that strive for sustainable and equitable health for ALL patients, we welcome any potential collaborations to achieve our overarching mission of social justice, health equity, and service for others. Together, we are advocates for change.
