Mandatory Flu Shot

Dear Loyola Health Sciences Community,

Loyola University Chicago requires all students, faculty, and staff on the Health Sciences Campus to obtain a flu vaccination. Free flu vaccinations will be given on campus during a weeklong period in October, including weekend availability. You must have your Loyola ID in order to be vaccinated on-campus. Please ask for a receipt upon receiving your shot, even if your ID is scanned. Below are the times and locations.

  • Loyola Center for Fitness: 5 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Cuneo Center/Stritch First Floor Lobby: 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • LUMC Nursing Office Discharge Lounge: 5 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • LUMC Burn Conference Room, 7th Floor, Room 7313: 5 a.m – 8 p.m.
  • Loyola Outpatient Center Employee Health, 3rd Floor: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Saturday, October 13
Sunday, October 14

  • LUMC Nursing Office Discharge Lounge: 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Monday, October 15
Tuesday, October 16
Wednesday, October 17

  • Loyola Outpatient Center Employee Health, 3rd Floor: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • LUMC Nursing Office Discharge Lounge: 5 a.m. – 8 p.m.

Anyone seeking exemption must complete a form and submit supporting documentation by Wednesday, October 17 to me at epascu1@luc.edu. Anyone vaccinated outside of Loyola needs to submit validation to their supervisor, so that compliance can be confirmed.
