The Health-EQ Committee of Loyola University Chicago’s Strategic Plan 2020 is calling for project proposal abstracts that will increase the knowledge and awareness of health disparities or that have the potential to decrease health disparities. The goal is to support Institutional Priority 3, Strategy 4 of Plan 2020. Read more.

The academic year is now well underway and it has been exciting to see our entire community come together over the past month at events such as Faculty Convocation, the White Coat Ceremony, and the Senator Durbin press conference in support of our DACA status students. I continue to be proud of how our faculty, staff, and students live out our Jesuit, Catholic mission and come together with dignity and respect to tackle the most complex issues.

A community message was distributed to students regarding the rescission of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals. The e-mail from John Pelissero, PhD, and Margaret Faut Callahan, CRNA, PhD, FNAP, FAAN, reaffirmed the University's support of all students and included resources and information for undocumented students and the wider campus community. .
