The Institute for Collaborative Advanced Skill Training is a centralized comprehensive virtual center aimed at fostering training and team building while promoting the myriad of educational opportunities on Loyola’s Health Sciences Campus. Ranging from simulation education to interprofessional education and leadership, to scholarship, research and faculty development, the institute promotes greater collaboration and efficiency.

The new Institute of Public Health will advance our current public-health initiatives and educate the next generation of public health leaders. The institute builds on our Catholic heritage and Jesuit traditions of service to others. Faculty from SSOM, MNSON, Law and Social Work will advance research by translating effective practices and sound public health policies into evidence-based initiatives. |
Neiswanger Bioethics Institute
The Neiswanger Bioethics Institute promotes awareness of, and service to, the ethical dimension of the health professions. This institute’s educational, research and service efforts promote an understanding of the relationship between the everyday challenges clinicians and researchers confront and the calling of professions to advocate for the common good. |

Leischner Institute for Medical Education
The Ralph P. Leischner Jr., MD, Institute for Medical Education was created to incorporate lessons regarding medical ethics, professionalism and spirituality into our teaching, in and out of the classroom. The institute promotes faculty development and mentorship for all students. The curriculum is designed to better shape medical students into competent, compassionate and socially responsible physicians. |
Center for Community & Global Health
The Center for Community and Global Health at Loyola University Chicago Health Sciences Division provides curricular support to service learning in health sciences education. The goal for the center is to coordinate the education, clinical and research missions in international and local community health settings. |
