CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS

In addition to the Master's degree (M.A.) and professional doctorate degree (D.Bioethics.) programs, we also offer a certificate option. A certificate in Clinical Bioethics is awarded for completion of twelve credits (4 courses). Requirements for the Certificate include Clinical Bioethics, and at least one of the following: Biomedical Ethics and the Law, Justice in Health Care, or Principles of Health Care Ethics.  To meet the needs of those working in Catholic health systems, we offer a certificate program with a concentration in Catholic HealthCare Ethics.

Students that wish to matriculate into the MA program may apply certificate credit toward the MA degree. Certificate applicants are not required to possess a graduate or professional degree.

Non-Degree Seeking Student Option: Applicants interested in enrolling in one course may do so by applying as a non-degree seeking student. Applicants must have at least a bachelor's degree in order to apply as such.
