A Thank You and Christmas Greeting

December 21, 2015

Dear Loyola Health Sciences Community,

In the spirit of the Christmas season, we’d like to take the time to thank you for your commitment to Loyola University Chicago and the Health Sciences Division this year. Our division saw many changes in 2015 and as we reflect on this past year, we are most grateful for your many contributions and dedication to our students.

At Loyola, we’re surrounded by magis—the Jesuit belief of going deeper, being more, and achieving more. It’s a belief we hold dear to our hearts every day, but even more so during the holy season. We know this spirit is alive within the Health Sciences Division.

Last week Interim President John P. Pelissero, PhD, shared a video that embodies the magis message. We encourage you to view the video and year-in-review photo gallery here.

As we look to the year ahead, which includes the opening of the new Center for Translational Research and Education, we are excited about all the possibilities our strong foundation in health sciences education, practice, and research holds.

Thank you again—and we wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season and New Year.

Merry Christmas,

Margaret Faut Callahan, CRNA, PhD, FNAP, FAAN
Provost, Health Sciences Division
